Options tracker
An options tracker that follows the whole trade
Brokerage apps show the positions you hold today. myTickrs keeps the history: every contract from the day you open it to the day it closes, expires or is assigned, with its premium and P&L worked out for you.
Every step of a contract
- Open and close: buy to open, sell to open, buy to close and sell to close, on calls and puts.
- Assignment and exercise create the stock trade at the strike for you, so your shares and cash stay right.
- Expiry: expired contracts are flagged, so nothing is left open by mistake.
- Rolls take one step. The old and new contracts are linked, and you see their combined P&L.
- Corporate actions: contract terms can be adjusted by hand after a split or a merger.
What you see on open positions
Each open contract shows its days to expiry, premium, current mark, day P/L, unrealized P/L and break-even. Option P&L and premium income can be viewed by period, so you can see what a month or a year of selling options earned.
Spreads, condors and the wheel
Enter multi-leg strategies such as verticals, iron condors, straddles, strangles and calendars, and tag trades as covered calls, cash-secured puts or the wheel. Premium can roll into the cost basis of assigned stock, or be tracked on its own. How the wheel is tracked.
